Caregiving for a 92-year-old senior (165 cm, 80 kg) who is bedridden. She suffers from osteoarthritis and high blood pressure but is mentally fit. Due to osteoarthritis, she is unable to move her legs, and her overall mobility is very limited. The senior is incontinent (urine and stool) and wears protective underwear. Given her health condition, she sleeps most of the time.
The caregiver provides complete bed care – assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, regular incontinence care, meal serving, medication reminders, and shared meals. Care also includes social activities – conversations, simple games, and watching television. The family handles shopping or can participate along with the caregiver. The caregiver is also involved in household cleaning, laundry, ironing, and preparing fresh meals.
Night service is as needed, i.e., if fluid administration or other care is required. The senior cannot lift herself; all care is provided in bed, with a bed, special anti-decubitus mattress, and toilet pad available.
The senior's son lives independently in the same house and can assist if necessary. Family and other relatives live nearby and can assist if needed. There is also a dog in the house. The caregiver has a private room with a bed, wardrobe, and table.
The required caregiver should be a woman with intermediate knowledge of German, without personal pets.
The house is located in a rural area in 35708 Haiger. Breaks and time off are possible by arrangement with the family.

Caregiving for a 91-year-old man suffering from mild to moderate stage dementia, incontinence, has experienced strokes without paralysis, is physically weak, and often mentally confused. Additionally, he has age-related leukemia and a pacemaker. The client is 180 cm tall, weighs 80 kg, and moves with the help of a walker, which he uses less indoors and more outdoors. He is entirely dependent on assistance for dressing, undressing, personal hygiene, showering, getting up, shaving, and dental hygiene. The caregiver will prepare breakfast, cook lunch, and prepare dinner, assisting the client with getting up for meals. Care includes help with toileting, changing incontinence briefs, and encouraging him not to sleep too much during the day to rest better at night.
Night care is required twice per night, mainly for toilet transfers. The caregiver will also manage the household, including shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry care. The client's wife also lives in the household; she has care level PG 3, is nearly blind, and cannot take over the care of her husband. However, she needs support with household chores, shopping, accompanying her on shopping trips, and showering twice a week.
The work takes place in an apartment of 100 m² in Bergisch-Gladbach Bensberg. The caregiver will be accommodated in a guest room of 14 m², equipped with a bed, wardrobe, table, chair, television, and Wi-Fi connection. There is no private bathroom available. Time off is planned individually in agreement with the family.

Caregiving for an 88-year-old senior (165 cm, 70 kg) living alone in Cologne - Braunsfeld. She suffers from age-related weakness, has had a broken and operated hip due to a fall, and has a pinched nerve in her left arm, which limits her motor skills and prevents her from sitting for long periods. However, she is very mentally alert. She requires a walker for mobility, support for standing and walking, and physical assistance from the caregiver for lifting/getting up. She needs partial assistance with dressing, personal hygiene, and using the toilet; she can eat independently. At night, she needs help with the toilet 1-2 times, depending on the day, and a commode chair is available. A physiotherapist visits daily. She enjoys going for walks, always with accompaniment. Occasionally, she can be a bit impatient. Cooking and shopping are handled by a house helper who is present for several hours a day - the caregiver is responsible for supervision and accompaniment, including doctor visits (by taxi, the caregiver only accompanies). Her son lives in the neighboring house but is only present on weekends; occasionally, grandchildren visit. Accommodation is in a private room in a family house in a large city with good transport connections, internet, and multiple bathrooms. Time off is by arrangement. A caregiver - a woman with a good knowledge of German is required, and smoking is not tolerated in the household. A driver's license is not mandatory but is welcome - cars are available.

Caregiving for an 88-year-old senior (160 cm, 58 kg) with moderate dementia/Alzheimer's, cardiovascular disease, and general age-related frailty. She experiences forgetfulness and has partial orientation in time, place, and towards people (intermittently present). She is very kind, friendly, and strives to be an active part of life—enjoys sweets and engages in handicrafts. Despite dementia, she is fully mobile and physically independent—manages dressing, movement, eating, hygiene, and toilet independently, so the role primarily involves household management and companionship, not physical care. She requires supervision over regular food and fluid intake and medication administration. The caregiver is responsible for shopping (stores within walking distance), meal preparation, household maintenance, and laundry. Night shifts are not required. A caregiver with a good knowledge of German is required; smoking is tolerated only outside the apartment. The caregiver's living situation is very good—a private studio with its own bathroom and internet. The client lives in the town of Schwanfeld. The start is planned for mid-October, and the position is long-term.

Caregiving for a 94-year-old senior (155 cm, 65 kg) who suffers from Dementia, Alzheimer's, and Osteoporosis. The senior is bedridden and moves with the help of a wheelchair. She has difficulty orienting herself in time, space, and in relation to people. Although she speaks clearly, communication is limited, and as a caregiver, you must speak very loudly and clearly. Her vision is age-appropriate, but she has increased eye pressure, requiring the application of eye drops, which is managed by the Pflegedienst. She needs assistance with all daily activities, including cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation. The Pflegedienst takes care of personal hygiene, especially in the morning and evening. Meals must be pureed or baby food, with an emphasis on adequate hydration. Night work may occur but is not daily. The household is non-smoking.

Caregiving for an 84-year-old lady (45kg, 145cm) living alone in a three-room apartment of 70 m² in Koblenz, Germany, where shops are within walking distance. A person with a good command of German is required; however, if the caregiver speaks Portuguese, knowledge of German is not necessary, as the client is Portuguese and speaks German only partially. Smoking is allowed exclusively outside the apartment, with a preference for non-smokers. A driver's license is not required. The family is very kind, with children living nearby who regularly help.
The lady in care moves with the aid of a walker, but very slowly, as she has been significantly limited for the past six weeks. She suffers from Parkinson's disease, general senile weakness, and osteoporosis. She takes her medication independently, with her son preparing the dispenser. She has a shoulder prosthesis, making it difficult to put on clothes over her head. In the hospital, she wears pads. It is necessary to consider that she may need assistance at night to move to the toilet, usually three times, sometimes just once or twice, or not at all, so willingness to provide night support is essential.
The caregiver's duties include assistance with dressing, hygiene, standing, walking, and toilet use, always with partial assistance. She manages food intake independently. She enjoys going for walks with the walker when she feels well and also likes shopping and cooking together with the caregiver. The job includes meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. The family strongly desires that care be provided by someone who speaks Portuguese or at least someone who can communicate with the client in this language. The son lives nearby and often comes to help.
Accommodation is provided in a separate guest room of 10 m², with a shared bathroom and internet access. Time off is arranged individually by agreement with the family.

There is no need for night-time awakening. The gentleman has a partner who is currently on a 4-week vacation.
The senior resides in an apartment, and the caregiver has access to a private bathroom and room. Ideally, the caregiver should possess a driver's license; a car with an automatic transmission is available.
